KERSHAW, S.C. – Two men are accused of shooting and killing another man Wednesday night in Kershaw, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said 30-year-old Bryan Matthew Hatchel was shot and killed around 8 p.m. on Harold Faulkenberry Road.
Authorities said Ronald Eugene Reed Jr. and Gregory D. Follansbee came to Hatchel’s residence and shot him multiple times. Reed and Follansbee then fled the scene.
Investigators said that Reed and Hatchel, who are related, had some type of pre-existing dispute.
Follansbee was located and arrested several hours later after the Lancaster County SWAT Team executed a search warrant at his home.
He is currently being held at the Lancaster County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
Authorities said Reed has not yet been located. Reed has an active arrest warrant charging him with murder and he should be considered armed and dangerous.
