A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed in southwest Charlotte, police said.
The accident occurred near the Steele Creek Road and Westinghouse Boulevard intersection right before 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
The name of the victim has not been released by police.
It has also not been said if there were any charges, and the reason for the crash was not released.
