CONOVER, N.C. – At about 1:45 Sunday morning, police were called to a shooting in Conover.
The Catawba County Sheriff’s office says a 19-year-old girl was shot in the head.
The shooting happened at Zelkova Court Northwest, just outside a Dollar Tree store.
There is no word yet on the condition of the victim and authorities have not yet released any further information.
