Two shootings that occurred in Charlotte on Tuesday, one of which sent a person to the hospital with injuries that were life-threatening, are being investigated by police.
The first shooting occurred in the 1500 block of Clanton Road, which is located a couple blocks away from West Boulevard, around 10:40 p.m.
A male victim in that shooting was taken by Medic to Carolinas Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
The second shooting happened in east Charlotte in the 2800 block of Cedarwild Road, off Idlewild Road, around 12:30 p.m.
The male victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was also taken to Carolinas Medical Center.
No one has yet been taken into custody for the shooting, police said.
