CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two men carrying weapons decided to burst into a restaurant on Sunday and rob the employees at gunshot. The restaurant was Plaza Midtown in Charlotte. The employees were opening up around 10:30 am for lunch when the suspects came in.
Witnesses say the crime happened early Sunday morning and saw crime scene tape around the Three Amigos restaurant on Central Avenue.
Police said one of the suspects fired a shot with a shotgun inside the building and pellets hit an employee. Two people were injured and taken to the hospital. Police are looking for any camera that would have filmed the incident. They hope to find the criminals soon.
