Homicide investigators are still piecing together the events that led up to a fatal shooting Wednesday morning in Stallings, NC. The shooting happened near an auto shop on the 100 block of Sherin Lane. The murder victim, Chris Brynarski, 32, was a father of five children.Stallings Police arrested Mark Stephen Thomas, 23, (L) and charged him with murder. Brynarski owned Union County Customs Auto Shop for about four years. Other workers and vendors were in the shop when the shooting happened and gave police some leads. Police found the two suspects around the corner on Highway-49 at the Waffle House. They also found their pickup truck with the suspected murder weapon inside.
This is the first homicide and the first fatal shooting the Stallings Police Department has ever had since it formed in 2003. Source: WCNC

This man killed my son Christopher Brynarsky. Chris has five young children and a wife. Mark Thomas is now free, his parents made his bail. They got him out the day of Chris's furneral. Mark Thomas is going around Charlotte bragging his parents are paying for his defense attorney and he will not do time for this hideous crime.

Something is very wrong with a state that releases murderers back into your city.
Charlotte Chris brynarsky raised me pratically my whole life and even though i wasnt his real daughter he treated me as if i was and even after him and my mom divorced we still talked and he was always there for me i still call him dad.There is NO reason or excuse,mark Thomas should'nt be in jail he commited a murder! and has a record hes shouldnt be on the street how do you know hes not going to get mad at somebody eles and decide to go and shoot them.Mark thomas destroyed!!!! lives think about his six children who now have to grow up without there farther who they were all very attached to! Think about his poor wife who now has to raise her children alone, or his parents who have to live in sorrow. I hope mark thomas gets what he deservs he destroyed lives and broke hearts he should pay put him in JAIL!!!!!! He is not innocent and there is no excuse! dont the crime if u cant do the time he knew what he was doing and he should have to pay!

when i met chris i was a singal mom my daughter was only 3 years old. what attracted me to him was how great he was with my daughter . soon after we were married and had to beautiful boys and even then he still treated my daughter as his own he was so proud of her he would always brag and tell everybody she was his real daughter. after our divorce he still saw my daughter even though we moved out of state they remained close and his new wife was accepting. she knew what alex ment to him and what a agreat job he did raising alex. dana and chris raised our 2 boys and had childern of there own he even rasied her daughter from a previous relationship he loved children, dana and i were blessed to have his children its to bad someone could be so evil and take these childrens dad away . mark you have destroyed so many peoples lives i dont know how you can live with your self i hope justice will be served because mark you are scum and we dont need dirtbags like you in this world i hope you burn in hell for destroying dana's and our childrens life .and last but not least chris please dont worry about your children dana and i are going to raise them togehter thank you for being a great fATHER to my childern and dana thank you for breing a great MOTHER to my children we will get through this together we will see justice served and then chris can rest in peace if you need anything i am here for you .and to john and pam i love you and i am so sorry for the loss of your son john your a great father and that is were chris got it from you should be proud of yourself and of chris. sara i am also very sorry

Please contact DC Customs at (704)-846-0722, speak to Dana about signing the petition to Review the bond. The petition will be taken to the DA of Union County 1-16-06. The media will cover this event. The first trial date is 1-4-06, if you wish to show support for Christopher Brynarsky, wear a white T-shirt, the media will be covering this event. Mark Stephen Thomas will be there. We want justice, Thomas should be in jail, not free. HIs parents should have to visit him in a cell. Thomas deserves death, but not according to the state of NC. If not death, then we want LIFE, no parole. Thomas took a life God created, his life for Chris's life, that is justice.
