Mecklenburg County Judge Hugh Lewis makes a promise to all the people who come through his drug treatment courtroom door. He says, "If you do 90 meetings in 90 days, I will do cartwheels for you."
Dawn Beaumont put Lewis to the test and completed her 90 drug meetings in 90 days. Judge Lewis made good on his promise and did cartwheels down the hallway of the Mecklenburg County Courthouse. Notice how great she looks sober. Way to go Dawn!!

Judge Lewis is probably one of, if not THE best district court judge in Mecklenburg County.

Congrats on your 90 in 90 keep up the good work, the rewards are endless. And yes I also have an amazying drug court judge. He is very understanding,compassionate yet firm. He makes my recovery all that much rewarding, Do the steps, get involved w/ service and no matter what...Don;t use JUST FOR TODAY

No cartwheels yet but his openmindedness and willingness is all the inspirition we need to help us along our journey of recovery, We are blessed and yes we do need more judges like this. 90 in 90 keep up the good work yes the rewards are endless..
