Holly Mitchell Arrested AGAIN!

Holly Mitchell, 18, was arrested again yesterday! His latest charges are for breaking and entering.

Mitchell is the teenager who brought an M-16 assault rifle to a football game last September. A month before he was caught with the gun, he was sentenced to 36 months of intensive probation for stealing cars.

On January 7th, 2007, Holly Mitchell appeared before District Court Judge Linwood O. Foust for a probation violation hearing. Mitchell's Probation Officer, CMPD Police Officers and the Prosecutor recommended Mitchell serve the rest of his sentence behind bars.

Judge Linwood Foust decided it was better to release Holly back on the streets and not hold him accountable for his actions. Judge Foust chose to ignore the fact Holly Mitchell has a steady arrest record for the past few years and has no regard for the law. When will someone hold this kid responsible?

Is breaking and entering part of his 36-month intensive probation? It makes one wonder what constitutes regular probation.

Judge Foust, it's time for this kid to go to jail.

What does it take to get locked up in this town (besides DUI)?

Everyone in this town should be outraged at this judge. What an idiot. I guess its easy for judges to let these convicts loose on our streets when they live in their gated communities. Can you imagine what this losers record will look like by the time he's 20?

what about holding the judge responsible!

Who keeps bonding this punk out?

The judge does nothing but show up for work. He abuses the public by letting this punk back on the street, and he also sets the kid up for the inevitable..death. He'll die by the hand of another street thug, or by someone like me who will be haunted the rest of our lives for having defended our home and family...but either way...his life will be short.

Jude Foust is personally responsible for this kids actions. We pay this judge to protect our community, just remember him next time we are up to vote. Judge Foust is part of the problem and has failed our community.

As the son of a retired NY State Investigator, it is upsetting to me to see the police doing their job only to have it being voided out by the ignorance of a judge who refuses to do his job. He was voted into office to protect and serve to the best of his ability, not protect and serve depending on his mood. This is one judge who needs to be shown that him and his so called justice are not needed or appreciated. He needs to be voted out of office as soon as possible.

All these people round here killing people...raping women and commiting other serious crime and you'll have time to worry bout a 18 yr old arrested for b&E! This is so confusing. I seen a person listed in the recent arrest column and i looked at what he went to jail for.He went to jail for shooting someone and he had drug charges. Then i looked at his record and he had been to jail way more times than Mr.Mitchell and some of his charges were way more serious also.....But i didnt see him with an article posted on here or his picture blown all over the news. I just dont understand! You know what..this Mr.Holly Mitchell thing is so last year...its time to move on...Dont you agree? I mean i can see if he got arrested for shooting someone, having another ar-15 or armed robbery..but B&E...come on now!
Lets Focus on the more serious issues going on in our city!

The point of the article is to show the people of Charlotte how messed up our court system is. holly mitchell happens to be the example.

Re: This Holly Mitchell thing.....

Whoever thinks just moving on and forgetting about Holly Mitchell only adds to the problem.

If that's the answer, then we'll just forget about his continuous string of criminal activity until he actually uses that assault weapon that he brought to a football game.

What if he had used it? Another Columbine kinda thing?

This kid's experience in the courts makes the perfect case for what's wrong with the court system in Mecklenburg County.

unfortunately my family is tied to this family and it is his own mother who keeps bonding him out with no further attempts to make him a promising young man in the neighborhood, my honest belief is that he has shown through his actions this will be a life long thing for him, truly sad for for society

Mr. Holly Mitchell has touchdown! He is officially FREE! And why ask who keeps bailing him out.Its no ones business really if you think about it. So are you'll going to make a new article talking about how he is FREE now? Hopefully we wont have to see him posted up on here again. Lets see if he learns his lesson this time? mmmmmmmmm!
