The RBC Centura bank located at 3920 Colony Rd was robbed yesterday afternoon around 1:00pm. The same bank was robbed less than four months ago on November 27, 2006. Police say the suspect entered the bank yesterday and indicated he had a weapon but didn't show one. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male, early to mid 20's and approximately 5'10" and 140 pounds. He was wearing dark sunglasses, jeans, a dark gray sweatshirt and a hat... on a nice warm day. The suspect looks similar to man who robbed the First Charter bank on Carmel Rd on February 21st but police haven't said if the robberies are connected.
The following suspect photos were released by the FBI. If you have any information, please contact the FBI @ 704-377-9200.

Looks simular??? He's wearing the same hat!
The same hat? I didn't see any pictures of the recent robbery.
If you click on "February 21st" it will bring you to the post with photos from the First Charter robbery.
Where are the pictures of yesterday's robbery!
The 3/14/07 bank robbery photos are shown in this post and the other photos were posted in Feb when I wrote about the First Charter bank robbery.
They look similar because I believe it is the same guy. The FBI and CMPD will not confirm this.

he will be doing 20 years soon enough - probably doing meth, coke
Why do we have so many bank robberies in Charlotte? Are these people ever caught?
If someone walks into a bank with clothes and hat on a hot day, why wouldn't the teller hit the panic alarm or something? Better be safe than sorry.
