Cab Driver Shot During Robbery Attempt

Three armed men attempted to rob a Nations cab driver last night on Wilora Landing Road around 11:00 pm.

Police say one of the men held a gun to the cab driver's head and another looked around for items to steal. While struggling with the suspect the van rolled into an apartment porch and one of the suspects shot the cab driver in the hand. The cab driver then grabbed the gun and shot one of the suspects in the leg and shoulder.

Police captured the suspect who was shot and they are questioning other possible suspects. The cab driver and the injured robber were transported to CMC with non-life threatening injuries.

Good job Cabbie! More people need to fight back against these robbers. They're little cowards hiding behind guns. Enroll in your local Karate class and kick a robber's ass today!
