Man Busted Selling Drugs from a Concession Trailer

Shorndell Anthony Joseph, 35, was arrested yesterday after police busted him for selling illegal items from his red concession trailer located on Robinson Circle. His food business was called 'Da Jerk Shack' but his menu consisted of a lot more than jerk chicken.

Police say they seized the following items from Shorndell Joseph and his four accomplices:
  • 1,072 grams of marijuana broken down into 284 bags of various sizes and a few large bags of marijuana. Police also confiscated a few scales and several hundred baggies for packaging drugs.
  • Five handguns- One of the guns was stolen in an out-of-state homicide case.
  • Twenty-eight mini liquor bottles.
  • $22,000 worth of counterfeit clothing, including 111 pairs of counterfeit Nike shoes.
  • $1,000 cash
  • 1969 custom pick-up truck
Shorndell Joseph was arrested on various drug charges along with four other men involved in the business. The magistrate set Joseph's bail at $46,700 and he is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

This is not the first time Joseph was busted selling drugs out of a food establishment. In October 2005, Joseph was arrested selling drugs at the 'Tropical Goodies' restaurant on Beatties Ford Road. During the raid, police seized nearly $1,500 cash, guns and a dozen individual bags of pot. Joseph is still waiting for his day in court to face these charges.

In 2005, authorities told 6NEWS that "Joseph is an illegal immigrant with a record in the Bahamas for attempted murder."

OMG I wonder how much money he was throwing down with all of the diversity of business he was selling. This guy really is a waste of a good mind. Think about it, he had a plan, deversified, and probably made a lot of money.

Just think what he could do in the real business world. He'd probably be a millionaire if he focused.

If he is an illegal then why wasn't he thrown out of the country after the first charge. It seems stupid to me that he would be allowed to stay here and commit more crimes. What the hell is the legal system doing and why is it failing so damn bad?

to the last blogger,you need spell check!!! I rewrote your blog for you;
He needs to be under the jail cell for the rest of his life. This man is a menace to society, who is wanted in the Bahamas. He got a minor pregnant in 2003. Why is he allowed in the streets? I guess you can lie to the police and get away with it. When he was arrested in "Tropical Goodies" (a jamaican restaurant on Beatties Ford Road),he lied and all charges were dropped. He made promises to stay out of trouble and did the opposite. Even so, he was released again. It was my understanding that carrying a gun without a permit was a federal offense. Obviously there are many loopholes.
Das how u write a article fool!!!
