Thugs on MySpace III
It's been a while since I've looked at MySpace to see what Charlotte's teen thugs are up to. Once again, it wasn't hard to find 'new' photos of Charlotte teens flashing guns, gang signs, drugs, etc.
My favorite is 18-year old Joshua Fletcher's MySpace page. Fletcher isn't the sharpest tack in town. He posts photos of guns, drugs, booze, money, posing with police cars and he even includes road signs he's shot up. Here is the kicker... he isn't trying to hide anything-- his last photo is that of his NC drivers license. Of course, Fletcher has an arrest record.
Other notable finds: Photo of a thug posing on the 'Hidden Valley' community sign with his ankle bracelet in plain sight. Video showing off guns and drugs, several teens calling themselves 'thugs'... photos of their parent's mugshots, etc. Enjoy the show!

Dear Lord.
What a nightmare that is. Thanks Oncrime for inspiring me to apply for my concealed weapons permit even though I can't really afford it right now. I encourage the rest of you law-abiding citizens to do the same. When I carry a weapon, it will protect me, my family and yours aw well.

And do not hesitate to find the money and time to obtain your conceal carry. the gangs are raising up these kids as part of their army and they do mean to wage war on law enforcement, on the community. To not only take what they want and can't earn, but to hurt people in the process and that's the sickest part. Both I and my wife have our permit, carry regularly and train often. If nothing else, you learn to think more tactically and be aware..might keep you out of trouble before it can strike.
I used to be concerned that a child might somehow be injured with a weapon in my home. I think that is a healthy fear though.
My opinion now is that the increase in probability of something bad happening is outweighed by the safety gained of owning a weapon. Can you imagine EVER being at the mercy of these animals? They might shoot me and put my picture on myspace.
I think we should all pitch in and gather as many photos/names from Myspace as possible and keep it all on a spreadsheet. When we pull a name from the news and find that we have photos of that person with a weapon, forward it to the DAs office. If it's possible that we could link one weapon to one thug it would be worth it.

to all the good folks that are hear, yes, it is time to step up our own level of preparedness. Pester the crap out of the Law Enforcement community because they are doing far too little proactively to curb this behavior. Learn to think and act defensively (tactively) so you are less of a target. Most of the kids/thugs are living a dream from bad 'B' grade movies. They've snagged some guns, and played with them in the mirror, but a well armed, well trained,alert, law abiding citizen has better odds than these kids realize. I have put one back in jail because my gun was in my hand. I have sent a couple others running, and thankfully, I have not had to actually shoot a young teen because it would be a nightmare for me, but also because there would be this great outcry in the community that some poor unloved kid who came after me with his stolen 9mm....you know the drill.probably better off to let them have the $30 in my wallet than to loose my home and everything else I've worked for as I fight in a court of politically correct bleeding heart injustices. If I thought that was all the punks would take..then I'd freely give it..but they want to hurt as well..so my gun (legally owned and carried) is a daily part of my dress code. think about it.
If you do end up having to shoot that thug teen, I recommend running home and trying to print out his MySpace page. If it looks anything like these ones, you will probably avoid a large portion of the bleeding heart backlash.
While I believe in Free Speech~I think this proves MySpace is a haven for criminals. Even IF these kids are only acting out the behavior and not living it~its the wrong mentality and should be stopped immediately. This isnt cool~its downright dangerous and stupid. Its my belief that while Free Speech is for us all to enjoy~if you post it for others to read it can also be used against you in the court of law. Our local law enforcement should be knocking on doors. These kids have upped the anti~parents dont care and the local communities are the ones in danger. Unfortunately, until this city, state and country start holding criminals accountable~and I dont mean arrest them and have them on the streets in 48 hours~I mean hard core prison time~if you murder another person your fate is not moving into a prison cell~fear will put most of these kids in line but there is not fear because justice prevails for the criminal and not the victim over and over. Its downright pathetic and while Americans believe this is the greatest country on earth~its losing control to people who do not care and with that America will be a lost image of greatness and we can all say "Remember when...". Accountability and punishment in the severe sense and stomp out Political Correctness~its ruining this America we live in!

this kind of thing makes me so mad- i swear, sometimes i think of just running them down with my truck when i see them... it wouldn't be a big loss, we should get a reward for mowing down the prooven problem people in our community. let a few people be rewarded, then let's see how they like being the ones scared to walk the streets.
I honestly feel like I must live in a bubble - all safe and unaware of this trash. It blows my mind to look at these pictures. How does myspace justify letting them do this?? I am honestly just blown away that there is kind of mentality out there!!
They bleed like everyone else. I imagine the reason for the guns & posing is because they know their own bro will shoot them in the back.
This tells me thug life is a choice & it truly is time to stop enabling these folks with our hard earned dollars.

jail (the nightly holdover) is a right of passage to be endured..yeah, the yare scared, but won't admit it. And they know that it's just a short matter of time and they are released back onto the street with an arrest record to show off. Prison, however, is where they spend 1.3 of their 7 year sentence before being cut loose. And during that time, they learn to become more dangerous than the average citizen is prepared to even mentally deal with , much less physically. They bring that knowledge, that skillset, that hatred, and that cold hearted thinking back home and teach it to the youngest. They are escalating this street war much faster than law enforcement, or citizenry are dealing with it.
Concealed Weapons? No... the good citizens guns must be made aware of, and seen in plane sight. If they are not, there is a much greater risk for an altercation, in which you will have to draw your "concealed" weapon, and maybe shoot someone. If its in plain sight, well.... that's just common sense. And it's your right as well as totally free!

hey 6:33...good point..if Chief (hug-a-thug) Stevens, really wanted to make a dent in this, then I'm sure there are some laws that would empower the boys in blue to come knockin on doors. But CMPD is understaffed, backlogged, no place to put em...etc...yeah, if I so much as let my shirt tale slip and someone see's my concealed carry.. I'm more likely to get busted, fined, have a record and my rights to bear removed for good..but these thugs are flaunting their illegal possesion, as underaged,of guns, and their obvious intent, proven by prior criminal records in many cases, to actually make good on their threats.

I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth,(i'm mixed, half white, half black)..my dad (black) left me and my mom when I was 2. I never heard from or saw him again, (i'm 32). I don't know if he is still alive. My mother raised me right. She showed me the value of hard work. These kids are nothing, and will amount to nothing unless they start taking care of themselves. It is to late for positive role models etc. They are not scared of authority, they have been to jail, and think it is a right of passage.

Let me say that if these kids are in this environment it's because their parents decided to bring them into it. If people can't afford to live anywhere but the ghetto then why in the world would you think having a baby would be a good idea? I didn't even buy a puppy until I was sure I could afford to take care of it!! If you're on crack it's probably not gonna be the best scenario when you have kids. Im a black female that grew up in Hidden Valley when it was a "good" neighborhood. These boys didnt grow up there, they have moved in and brought the value down. I blame the parents!!! I have 2 boys and I know where they are at all times!! I log into their e-mails, and myspace pages, I read their text messages, I snoop through their rooms!!!! Damn right Im nosey cause thats the only way to save them from the streets!!! I moved my boys to the mallard creek area so they would not have as much negative influence around them.I keep them in sports, I skate with them, and they make A's and B's. Parents get involved!!! SAVE OUR YOUTH, PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!!
