Kyle Fleischmann, 24, (Shown R) is missing and his family is asking for anyone with information to come forward and help police find him.Kyle was last seen early Friday morning in uptown, where he left Buckhead Saloon around 2:15 am. He hasn't been seen nor heard from since. Kyle's family and friends are concerned because it is unlike him to disappear.
Kyle Fleischmann is 6'0" and 180 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing jeans, a black T-shirt, and black dress shoes.

I saw a flyer with this information on Friday night in an Uptown parking garage. It said missing since sometime in 2006. They should go replace all those posters because when we saw the date we didn't pay any attention.
Check that...it was Saturday night that I saw it.

It WAS early this past Friday morning {{11/9/07}}. Some may say 11/8/07 also because it was really early Friday morning.... EVERYONE in the search, and if you are just walking down the street and see this mistake on the flyers around town, PLEASE make the change so more people will take notice! Thank you!

I heard the friend make a statement on the radio this morning that Kyle's car was parked at his home. How was Kyle planning to get back to his friend's home?

I have suffered a lot this year with the death of my grandmother from cancer and a stroke to my 13 year old cousin who died in the freak football accident in Lincoln County. My heart goes out to the family, you are all in our thoughts and prayers and I can only hope that Kyle is found safe and SOON!

I was hoping that he would be found strung out in a West Side motel after a 2 day long bender (not saying he did drugs - I was just hoping (and still am) for a happy ending) but it appears as if he might have ended up a victim.
Let's all say a prayer that I'm wrong and he decided to elope to Vegas with a girl he met at Buckhead that night.

He may just not be missing, just don't wanna be found. I had a relative leave for months with no ideal where they were, when they decided to resurface all was well, hope it's the same ending for this guy. Let's all pray and have postive thoughts that he's safe and will return safely.

I read that Kyle made phone calls to his family and friends after he left the bar. I wonder why no one answered the phone. Surely one of them were home at 2:30 on Friday morning. I pray that he will be found unharmed. I can't imagine what his family is going through.
I recognized Kyle's picture on the news and my heart sunk when Elon's website confirmed it was him. I remember running into him on campus and his bright smile. I will keep him and his family in my prayers.
I hope the local police are considering the very real possibility that Kyle was the victim of a sexual predator. Victims are chosen because they are accessible and vulnerable, and is not necessarily indicative of their actual sexual orientation. Then again, no one actually knows his actual sexual orientation. Too often, police foolishly refuse to consider the possibility of a sexual predator so as not to embarrass the victims family.
Is there any particular reason the police waited more than a week to search his apartment?
I have heard several rumors that Kyle had substance abuse problem, can anyone confirm this?
I have no idea who Kyle is..but I am a student at Charlotte Catholic and that is all we have been talking about the past few weeks. Too all Kyle's friends and family-he is in our prayers..I dont know how much help i am being..but i am always on the look out for him.i hope kyle returns home safe and sound!
Did they ever find that other guy who disapeared last year from an uptown bar? The news covered it for a few days, and then nothing.
Keep in mind, it is not unlawful for adults to go missing.
I'd bet that Kyle was targeted as a victim, probably because he was drinking/intox. It's easier to get the upper hand on someone who may be drunk. And there very well could have been more than one bad guy involved. If Kyle was a victim of a street robbery by the average street thug and was injured he would have been found on the street and the bad guy would be in the wind. Plus if it was one of the local thugs he probably would have been given up by one of his 'friends' by now looking for a favor from the DA. Doubt very much that he just vanished on his own accord. If he had some sort of past mental health issues that could possibly be the case but that has not been reported by authorities. He appears to be a well adjusted person who was just out for some drinks with friend, not someone drowning their sorrows. I hope the police investigators are up to the task of finding Kyle. JIM
