what can you do if the teen has set their myspace to "private"?
My Space won’t allow sexual predators on its site why does it allow this kind of display.
It would seem that allowing this type of GANG advertisement on its site is counter to what the site is supposed to be about. Communities don’t allow GANG graffiti to stay up on buildings fences and such. The reason is that it sends the message that the community doesn’t care. Why isn’t the government saying something about this?

As a parent there should not be anything in your house that private. Contact MySpace if your child has a MySpace page, I heard that there is sofeware for parents to track there page.Pictures don't lie, there ought to be enough on these pictures to arrest the person in the picture wouldn't you think?

Pardon me, I was out of line for the last comment, but seriously, quit giving me and the rest of the race a bad name by spewing this horrible "ignant" shit all over the place. And I understand....express yourself by all means, but I'll tell you this much: Walk like a duck, talk like a duck, don't get mad when somebody hunts you down. Everybody wants to be a gangster, but don't nobody want to talk about how much it hurts to get shot...or what its like to have to look at your kids and your mama through a glass, to not hear your kid's first words, or see their first steps, or see them graduate. I regret threatening you, but you got some self-straightening to do, young man, if you're running around putting spreading that bullshit. And thats real.
First of all, the government does not need to mandate was MySpace allows on its site. Thats asking for trouble. The fact is, the people using MySpace lack the accountability and respect to post properly. MySpace should suspend rights to their site. Unfortuantely, Facebook or some other social networking site would step in and all people to post whatever they want. Its all about how someone gets paid not what is right or ethical. These social online networks, used by students, should be closely monitored by parents. Unfortunately, the rhetoric gets us nowhere. Parents arent parenting. No one is held accountable, parents or their child. MySpace is a disturbing trend, left unchecked, could do a great deal of damage to the youth. But until parents force MySpace to be accountable for whats posted on their site, MySpace will continue to turn a profit!
I don't think the parents of these kids posting care, or else why would they be such idiots? I think these low scum of the earth are that way because they don't have parents who care. What I don't get is why they think they are so cool??? Thye look like dumb arses.
Censoring a website like that is not the answer. But if people are dumb enough to take pictures and post them of all their illegal and criminal paraphernalia, they will eventually either get caught, shot, locked up, or hopefully, rehabilitated.
As much as I would like to think that there is hope for all these future felons I don’t think there is much. By the time they get this old they are pretty much set on that life altering journey to either the jail, prison, single parent under 20, hospital or grave yard or
drug and alcohol addiction. You have to catch them young before the pop culture of the street and its offer of false glory take hold. They will have to change on there own.
I just hope that we (the public) don’t pay to high a price first.
Where do we draw the line at crime prevention? If we allow this type of display why not allow my space bomb making or how to kill with a knife. Maybe allow a Kue Klux Klan my space site. I mean after all, these kids openly admit to wanting to shoot people, drug dealing and other such lawlessness. If we accept one kind of wrong on my space are we not obligated to accept them all? No matter how wrong, no matter how evil.
blb where did you go to school ? Garinger ? You misspelled Ku Klux Klan, are you trying to play the race card ? Well I don't like the Klan, but I don't see many of them robbing and rapeing women around here. I'm sure there are a few around, but other than pissing off black people , what do they do. There has not been a church fire or bombing due to them around for a long time, I'm not sure if they ever done that. I'm not concerned about Alabama or Mississippi. All those rednecks are crazy, but around here people are for the most part civilized and try to help each other. Again I'm not talking about the thugs a criminals. The average person doesn't condone this type of behavior, no matter what color or race. So I would apperciate if you racist blacks would try to play the race card. Stand up to the truth for once in your miserable lives and realize that you create your own prejudices. My saying is that if you look like crap , walk like crap and smell like crap, then evidently you are a piece of crap. A criminal is a criminal no matter what color, it's amazing the percentages of each race though.
I say let all these idiots keep posting their pictures. At least you know who's got what. So little thug has an AR-15. Good for him. I have 1, too. I've also got a lot more guns than that, but I don't feel the need o post pictures of them.
Think about it. Little Thuglife Jr. goes and commits a crime with an AR-15 ( I use it because it is an easily recognizable weapon). Someone sees his picture on the news from a surveillance camera and remembers seeing a similar gun on Myspace. Concerned citizen looks at Thuglife Jr.'s Myspace page and *poof* we have the criminal. Same person, similar gun, and the idiot is dumb enough to post it on the internet. lol
Let them be a bunch of idiots. Just don't let them be criminals.

Before you try to make fun of someone who graduated from Garinger for misspelling Ku Klux Klan, perhaps you should have used your spell and/or grammar check. Your misspellings and rambling run on sentences have given me a headache!

Sorry I miss spelled the first part of the “KLAN'S” name. My point was that as a society if "WE" allow this type of display on my space why not allow [any] group or organization or individuals too. I used the "KLAN" as an example of a group whose basic tenant runs counter to what our society; law's and constitution stand for. I could have easily used MS-13 the Bloods, Cripps-what ever.
The point is that no matter what race or culture you are from this nation is based on laws and the rule of law. To allow the flaunting of these laws in such a way is a display of contempt for law and ethical behavior. All kids rebel. How did it get to the point where teenage rebellion meant guns and drugs and shooting others to protect your "rep"
By the way [DUCKIE] if you mean by your statement "race card" you think I am African American You couldn’t be more wrong.
