Another reason Charlotte is fast becoming a place people flee if they can. I have lived here 20 years and rue the day I bought a home here.I tell every person I can to work in Charlotte but to LIVE outside of Mecklenburg county. I will retire in about 2 years and will go to (hopefully) some rural SC location that does not make me feel I must carry a concealed pistol to go out to get a simple sandwich!

I agree. I lived in charlotte for 23 years. I now live in florida. I want to move back home but it is very dangerous. Am a mother of four. I no there comes a time when we all have to go. But want to live to see my children grow as grown adults and love to see my grands grow up. So i took a step and moved far away. God Bless you all and be safe.

A black man walks into a subway wearing a Ninja outfit, an Elmer Fudd hat and ski goggles . . .

It almost sounds like the beginning of a joke - but sadly, the truth is this is an average day in Charlotte.

I can't believe no one thought to call 911 as soon as he walked through the door!!! I know it's profiling, but profiling can save your butt!

Aviator glasses? Maybe he is an airline pilot gone bad. Too bad the clerk wasn't armed!

looks like the manufacturers will need to make their cameras capable of firing a few rounds and/or be able to transmit a silent alarm if tampered with.

Check out the way this simian simpleton holds his "strap".

Rule #1 when robbing for ghetto thugs:

Look cool for the camera at all costs!
