Police Seeking Repeat Bank Robber

The same man who robbed a North Charlotte Wachovia Bank on Monday has struck again! Today, he robbed an American Community Bank, located on South Blvd. As you can see from the surveillance photos- he wore the same clothes as he did in the last robbery.

The FBI says the suspect threatened the teller with a weapon and demanded cash. He fled the area on foot. If you recognize this man, please call the FBI Charlotte Division Office at 704-377-9200 or call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.

Can the banks lower the camera angle so they can get a better face shot? All these cameras are set too high.

The dude has the same clothes on in both robberies. I'm no detective, but I'd be checking the local homeless shelters!

If you look at the close up shot of this guy from the Wachovia robbery, you'll see the side of his face. He looks exactly like the guy that Matthews police were looking for (with that woman in a red car- suspected of larceny at the Arts & Crafts store. Some of these shots, he looks like an older man, but look at the other pictures and you'll see what I'm talking about.
