CMPD Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting this afternoon at a home on Marlowe Avenue that resulted in the death of one person and injury to a second. The deceased victim has been identified as 20-year old Jeffery Boular.The second victim, whose identity is being temporarily withheld, was shot once in the leg and transported to Carolinas Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
According to preliminary witness statements, at about 2:45 pm, Mr. Boular was outside the home at the time of the shooting and the second victim was inside the home when a dark-skinned black male drove by in a red Dodge Magnum. He fired multiple times into the home. Fortunately, none of the children who were inside the home at the time of the shooting were injured. Child Development Community Policing (CDCP) officers and counselors responded to the scene to assist the children.
The suspect vehicle may have a Florida license plate and the male suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this case should call 911 or CrimeStoppers at 704-334-1600

I hope they catch the @$$hole that did this and execute him. When is this $hit gonna stop?? When are these people going to start living positive productive lives instead of being a bad example to the younger generations growing up? Its a vicious cycle that seemingly will never end.
Drive by shooting are we in LA or Detroit? Black on black crime is a real problem here in Charlotte.
Looks like Jeffrey might of gotten what he was giving since he was charged in December for discharging a firearm into occupied property. I'm telling you - these people have a mentality that the rest of us will never understand - just imagine what the next generation will be like.
Hey 8:17....wake the hell up! Do you think this was some innocent "teen" sitting on his front porch doing his AP Economics homework? He was a gang-bangin' piece of trash that has already done the same thing that he was a victim of. The sad part is that there WERE innocent children INSIDE of the residence. But these recidivist maggots don't care if they "accidentially" put a bullet in a child's head....as long as they take the life their gunning (no pun intended) for.
I'll tell you what was sad though.........the fact that the news reports were more concerned and concentrated their focus on the new Chief being there. Not only him - but 2 Deputy Chiefs, 3 Majors, etc. The news report seemed to be about them and not the murder.
Any word on if Al Sharpton is going to visit the city after this shooting? Oh wait, that's right, he only cares if it's a police shooting. Since it's black-on-black shooting, big Al doesn't care since it won't get him on the news. If their own "leaders" don't give a damn, why should we?
The bigger concern should be the fact that children were in the house. Both parties that were shot have criminal records..... Not sure the ages of the children, but come on. This is merely leading them to the exact same behavior later on down the line.

First of all i wont say anything disrespectful to you guys because God will definently deal with you in his on way for the rude and hidious comments you left about a 20 year old man.It doesnt matter what Jeffery did in the past, the fact of the matter still remains that a young man lost his life for no real reason and lets not mention his 2MONTH OLD DAUGHTER who has to live the rest of her life without a father.Jeffery was my friend and he will forever be missed.
