The woman that hit a 49 year old man on his mo-ped, killing him, and then fled the scene was sentenced on Monday. 28 year old Astrid Muller, a Clemson University graduate student, hit James David Grisham back in 2010 . Grisham died at the scene. Muller fled the scene of the accident and hid her damaged car. She was arrested two days later.
Muller was convicted last week of reckless homicide and hit and run accident resulting in death. She was sentenced on Monday to spend three years in prison.
