Man and Woman Arrested in University City Robberies

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police arrested and charged a man and a woman in a several University City area robberies that happened on Jan. 7, Jan. 17, and Jan. 20. A tip to Crime Stoppers about the vehicle driven by the suspects lead to the arrests.

Ramon Dimitrick Wilson, 30, has been charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and second-degree kidnapping.

Lauren Chanelle Graeber, 26, was given charges of three counts of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of possession of cocaine.

Another name had initially been released as the male suspect before Wilson was later identified.

Police pulled the suspected vehicle over on Eastway Drive early Tuesday that contained the robbers.
