4 Concord Men Arrested In Theft of 33,000 Pounds of Batteries

batteries_Frazier_Nicholas_AnthonyFour Concord men have been charged in connection with battery thefts over a four-month period throughout the county.

The deep cycle batteries were stolen from seven different cell site cabinets between April and July of this year, a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office news release said. They were then sold at area scrap yards.

The amount of batteries stolen totaled over 33,000 pounds stolen from Lincoln County and other surrounding counties.

Those charged were Damina Robert Phillips, 21, Wesley Heath Ratcliff, 32, Andrew Ronald Gehl, 20, and Nicholas Anthony Frazier, 20. The charges were for possession of stolen goods and felony counts of larceny.

Each man is currently held in jail.
