Firefighters rescued a man from an 8-foot hole he fell down on Clarke Boulevard, close to North Tryon Street, in Charlotte on Wednesday morning.
It took around 20 minutes for the firefighters to rescue the man, who had serious injuries and was then taken to the hospital.
According to firefighters, the victim didn’t know what the hole was there for and had just been walked close by.
