A drive-by shooting happened around 9 p.m. Sunday off the Plaza in east Charlotte and two people were injured.
The incident occurred on The Plaza close to Milton Road and across from the Vietnamese Alliance Church.
One of the victims had life-threatening injuries and was taken to Carolinas Medical Center, paramedics said. The other victim had minor injuries and was transported to Novant Presbyterian Medical Center.
The victims have not been identified and police haven’t released if any arrests have been made or suspects identified.
This was the second shooting that happened on Sunday in the area. The other happened about 1:30 p.m. when someone was shot and killed off The Plaza on Blendwood Drive, near Eastway Drive, police said. One person was charged in the shooting.
