A man was cut with a box cutter Saturday night at a card game that got out of hand in a Statesville home.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on North Patterson Street during an argument.
The man suspected of connection in the assault is James Hyde of Statesville. An arrest warrant has been obtained for him for assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
Hyde is suspected of cutting Larry Culler on his arm with the box cutter. The injuries were not life-threatening.
