Convicted Sex Offender Failed to Give New Address

AR-160528971A convicted sex offender was arrested and charged on Saturday.

Belmont police arrested 29-year-old Wesley Truesdale of Charlotte and charged him with one felony count of failing to register as a sex offender with his new address

In 2004, Truesdale was convicted for felony taking indecent liberties with a child, arrest records show. He was jailed for one year, eight months and was released in April 2008.

Warrants show Truesdale didn’t report his most recent Charlotte address. He is held on $200,000 bond in Gaston County jail.
