A Charlotte woman who attempted to steal condoms from a pharmacy in Belmont was jailed on Tuesday.
Stephanie Danielle Bostic, 33, prevented the anti-shoplifting device in the store from activating by using an aluminum-lined bag, the arrest warrant showed. The Trojan Magnum condoms were taken from the CVS located on Wilkinson Boulevard,
For the condoms theft, Bostic was charged with felony larceny by anti-inventory device as well as failure to appear since she missed a previously scheduled court date. She was jailed at Gaston County Jill on a $21,000 bond.
On Aug. 9, Bostic was previously convicted on charges of resisting an officer and larceny in Cabarrus County. She was given a suspended sentence and probation.
