CMPD Seek Help Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect

unnamed-1The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Armed Robbery Unit detectives are seeking help from the public in identifying a man who committed an armed robbery at a Kangaroo Express.

North Division patrol officers responded to the business at 6229 W. Sugar Creek Road around 3:10 a.m. on Sept. 23 about an armed robbery. Employees there told officers a black male had entered with a handgun and demanded money. After he received the money, the man fled.

The suspect has been described as a black male, about 5-feet-9-inches tall, 150 pounds, and in his 20s.  He was seen last wearing a black hoodie with white drawstrings, prescription glasses, black shoes, and black pants.
