Man Fired Rounds into Rock Hill Home

CIC Default Crime ReportPolice reported no injuries after gunman fired into a Rock Hill home with people inside on Tuesday.

The incident occurred at a home in the 1100 block of Bose Avenue around 10:40 p.m., a police report shows.

A woman in the living room there told officers she had been in the carport outside and saw a man inside an older white Honda.

Police said the man drove up to the house before leaning out the window and yelling, “This is for (expletive) with my family.” He then fired around 10 shots at the home before driving away north on Bose Avenue.

No one was injured in the shooting, police said. There were 10 shell casings found in the road close to the home’s driveway.

Police said most of the rounds went into the home’s living room. One resident had been sitting in there. Another person had been in a bedroom sleeping and two others were sleeping in another bedroom. Four of the shots hit a truck in the driveway.

Police said one of the residents were reported as having heart issues and EMS responded.

There have currently been no arrests made.
