DURHAM, N.C. — An Amber Alert has been issued for a baby out of Durham.
Tamiyah Elssy Bryant is a 10-month-old black girl. She’s 18 inches long and 24 pounds. She was last seen in a pink shirt and diaper.
Her alleged abductor is 26-year-old Rodney Francis Bryant. Police say he is a black man, 6 feet tall and weighing 220 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Bryant has tattoos of praying hands on the right side of his neck, “MOB” on the left side and “MACKTOWN” on his knuckles. This is in addition to other tattoos on his forearms.
Bryant was last seen in a black shirt, green camo pants and an orange coat.
The suspect was last seen on I-40 West at Highway 55. He might be headed to Atlanta. He’s driving a white 2002 Suzuki Vitara with a Washington license tag. The door handle is missing on the driver’s side.
