Angry Woman Smashes Car Into Daycare

Authorities in Lincoln County say an angry woman who was recently fired from her job took out her frustrations on her former employee by ramming her car into the business.

Lincoln County police were sent to the Tutor Time Day Care Center in Denver Tuesday afternoon and found damage done after a vehicle had smashed into the double metal and glass doors at the front of the business. The suspect- sixty year old Amy Susan Fier- left the scene before officers arrived, but was stopped a short distance away from the daycare. When officers stopped Fier, they found her car covered with pieces of glass from the shattered doors.

There were several children in the lobby when the crash happened, but no one was injured. The damage to the building is about $3,000.

Fier was arrested and has been charged with one count each of assault with a deadly weapon, second degree trespassing, communicating threats, and injury to real property.
