In the three cases, men were taken against their will and forced to drive to ATMs, withdraw money from their bank accounts and then hand over the cash. One man was taken from his home while he was unloading groceries, another from his apartment complex and two men were taken from their church. After the money was exchanged, each of the men were left alone with their cars as the men walked away on foot.

None of the four men in any of the three cases were physically harmed. Police now believe Rice was following in his car, picking up the men and dropping them off for the crimes.
