BREAKING: Panthers QB Injured In Car Crash

Breaking newsCHARLOTTE, N.C. — Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was involved in a wreck in uptown Tuesday afternoon.

The accident happened on the Church Street bridge over I-277 around 12:30 p.m., right in front of Bank of America Stadium.

The wreck involved Newton’s truck and a car. Medic was on the scene within minutes and Newton was taken away by ambulance.

Officials have not said the extent of Newton’s injuries, or if anyone else was injured in the accident.
