A Charlotte man was arrested by police without incident after cutting off an electronic device he had been ordered to wear, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
Akinto Maurice Boone, 43, had been wanted for felony conspiracy, common law robbery, and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.
Boone’s arrest happened Wednesday after he had cut off his device on Sunday, police said.
Boone was ordered by a judge to wear the electronic monitor on February as a pretrial release condition.
