A teenager in Charlotte admitted to fatally shooting his best friend when they were both playing with guns.
Demichael Adams, 17, has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter. He will serve jail time for 90 days and has to participate in a public service announcement on gun safety. Stowe’s mom, Tiffany White, says she will participate as well.
Adams and his friend, Dallas Stowe, 18, had been playing with guns when the shooting happened, according to family members and attorneys.
It was recommended by the judge that Adams served some of his sentence during the holidays, since Stowe will not be there to celebrate them with his family.
