Police in Charlotte are working to piece together events from an apparent suicide Sunday evening. That’s when a young unnamed woman apparently jumped off of the Rea Road bridge, which runs over I-485. Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department were on scene conducting an investigation.
Included in the investigation were homicide detectives and crime scene technicians, which were working to determine whether the cause of death was suicide or homicide. According to officers that were present, the young lady struck two vehicles that were travelling eastbound on the outer loop of I-485.
