A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools bus was rear-ended by a driver on Monday afternoon in north Charlotte.
The incident occurred close to Maple Road and West Sugar Creek Road about 4 p.m. on the first day back to school.
There were only two North Mecklenburg High students on the bus at the time and no one was injured.
