Concord Police Investigate Homicide After Man Dies at HQ

Authorities in Concord are conducting a homicide investigation involving a man who died at police headquarters on Wednesday afternoon.

At around 2:00 Wednesday afternoon, a woman drove her husband, who was suffering from a gunshot wound, to Concord police headquarters. When the woman reached the police station, located on Cabarrus Avenue, she went into the building to get help and left her husband in the car.

Concord NC PoliceThe shooting victim, identified as 31 year-old Andres Alberto Martinez Trouch, was found unresponsive after officers came out to the vehicle to assist him. Officers attempted to save his life but were not able to do so.

Officers have stated that the couple were involved in a confrontation after a man somehow stopped the car near Lincoln Street at Malvern Drive. Trouch was shot during the incident, after which his wife drove to police headquarters for help. Detectives are trying to find witnesses to the confrontation and conduct interviews.
