Concord Shooting Leaves A Man Dead

concord crime CONCORD, N.C. – Concord Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead.

According to Police, the shooting occurred around 12:45 p.m. Saturday on Old Charlotte Road Alberta Road.

Police said they received several 911 calls about “shots fired”, and when they arrived they found Mario Douglas, 30 of Midland N.C., dead.

“Initial interview reveal it is domestic related,” said Guy Smith the Chief of Police for Concord.

Chief Guy said they are conducting interviews.

Investigators released the name of the victim.  Thus far no arrests have been made.
