Cramerton Pharmacist Robbed on Thursday

CIC Default Police Line TapeA man who robbed a Cramerton pharmacist on Thursday demanded drugs instead of money.

According to the pharmacist at Anderson Health Mart Pharmacy in the Cramer Marketplace shopping center, Robbie Anderson, the suspect demanded the prescription drug oxymorphone, an opioid painkiller.

The incident occurred about 5:20 p.m. The white suspect threatened Anderson but didn’t show a weapon and left on foot. He was around 170 pounds, 5-feet-10-inches tall, and wearing dark pants and a black t-shirt.

Anderson said the man also talked on a cellphone during the robbery and had a motorcycle helmet on.

Police said they brought a K-9 to search for the man without success and were on the scene for around three hours after the robbery.

Anderson said he gave the robber a little bit of what he demanded and the man left.
