MISSOURI CHAINSAW CRAZINESS

LINCOLN COUNTY, MO – While wearing a ski mask, Lynn Marie Herzog, 50, is accused of screaming, cursing and brandishing a chainsaw at neighborhood boys Sunday from her lawn in Lincoln County, Mo.

Patricia Manker called the police saying Herzog walked toward her son and his friend with the deadly tool.

“I come out of my door and hear her screaming at the kids,” neighbor Patty Fleming told a local TV station. “The boys start walking and she starts walking towards them with her skull mask and her chainsaw, shaking it like she was going to hurt the kids.”

Herzog claims the children had thrown rocks at her home in the past, but Fleming argues that Herzog’s response to the supposed rocks was excessive.

“I’m like, ‘You’re an adult. If the kids are throwing rocks — No. 1, they weren’t — you know, rocks versus a chainsaw, come on,’” Fleming said.

Another neighbor, Lesa Vossenkemper, says Herzog has threatened her mentally disabled son, 28, for so long that she filed a protection order.

“Our son is so terrified of her, that he’s afraid she’s going to wind up in the house with him and do something to him,” said Vossenkemper.

Herzog has been arrested and charged with felony harassment of a child under 17. Her bond is set at $10,000 and she could face four years in prison if convicted, but neighbors think time in a mental health facility would be more helpful.

I CAN’T EVEN THINK OF A SUITABLE HEADLINE FOR THIS NONSENSE

Nadya "Octomom" Suleman

LOS ANGELES, CA -“Octomom” is currently under investigation for welfare fraud.

Investigators from the Los Angeles County Department of Welfare Fraud Prevention and Investigation (WFP&I) are reportedly questioning Nadya Suleman after receiving a tip that she was collecting thousands of dollars in governmental assistance despite the fact that she earned more than $200,000 in 2012.

Investigators are now observing Suleman’s bank records and other documents to determine if she was illegally collecting welfare last year. Investigators also reportedly plan to search the home and office of her manager.

The law says any U.S. citizen who makes more than $119,000 a year is not eligible for welfare.

Suleman could spend three years in prison if she is found guilty, sources say.

Reports say Suleman earned $60,000 in welfare benefits, including food stamps, even though she made money via publicity jobs such as pornography and stripping, as well.

Although Suleman went off welfare in 2012, she reportedly returned to it the following year after she spent a large portion of her earnings while in a rehabilitation center.

“She spent most of her savings while she was in Chapman Treatment Center, paying for around-the-clock nannies, drivers, security and her treatment program,” Suleman’s former rep, Gina Rodriguez, reportedly said. “She does not expect to be on longer than three months.”

KENNER, La. — Police in Louisiana say a call about an SUV being driven recklessly on Interstate 10 led them to pull over a 10-year-old boy who was driving.

A Kenner police news release says the boy’s grandmother and another woman in the vehicle were arrested early Wednesday when the car was pulled over on a city street.  Police say they told officers that they had the boy drive because they were intoxicated.

The child’s grandmother, 54-year-old Brenda Byrd, and 48-year-old Sheila Joiner were booked  and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and allowing an unlicensed driver to operate a motor vehicle.

The young driver and a 15-year-old passenger were later released to family members.

Sgt. Brian McGregor says the women were in custody awaiting a court appearance.  No attorneys were listed in their booking records.
