On Wednesday, the Major Crash Investigation Unit with the help of the Motorcycle Unit and North Division officers set up a seat belt operation at the intersection of Beatties Ford Road and Sunset Road. This operation was done with the help of spotters calling in violations to officers. A total of 139 citations were written during the operation, which lasted 2 hours.
