Officers arrested 20 year-old Vincent Christopher Bourne on Wednesday. He is accused of shooting three people at a house party on Sunday. Police say the three victims got into an altercation with acquaintances while picking up a friend from the party. The victims include UNCC free safety Prince Mayela and ASU defensive lineman Tashion Singleton, former high school teammates from Mecklenburg County. All three victims are expected to recover.
Bourne is charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. He is being jailed in Mecklenburg County, currently without bond.
