Hickory police say the driver that hit a motorcycle rider will be charged in his death. The driver was so high on prescription pills that he did not know he had hit and killed someone.
Henry Carroll Jr is being charged with felony death by vehicle for hitting and killing Dennis Dorrier. According to police, Carroll crossed the center line on 16th Street in Hickory on December 9, hitting the motorcycle.
