CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Parts of Remount Road in Southend will be closed on and off throughout Thursday.
Police said a drunken driver drove down the Lynx light rail tracks early Thursday morning and hit a box that controls the gates.
Charlotte Area Transit System engineers are working to fix it.
