CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash in east Charlotte.
The crash happened just after 6:30 a.m. on East Independence Boulevard and Woodland Drive near Albemarle Road.
One person was transported under emergency status and a second under non-emergency status to Carolinas Medical Center.
Traffic moved very slowly through the area this morning.
