CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A man has barricaded himself inside an east Charlotte home prompting SWAT officers to take action.
The SWAT team responded to the home, which is on the 3200 block of Gulfstream Drive, just before 2 p.m. Monday.
Officials have not said what may have led to the man barricading himself in the home.
Charlotte police say that residents nearby were alerted to the situation.
He was taken into custody around 3 p.m. without incident.
