CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating a shooting on Charlotte’s east side.
Right around 4 p.m. Thursday, officials responded to the scene at the corner of Barrington Drive and Milton Road.
Police say three people were shot, all of which have non-life threatening injuries. Authorities say all three victims are in their late teens or early 20s.
CMPD officers from the North Tryon Division are canvassing the area for witnesses and clues, but say this does not appear to be a random act of violence.
Officials believe there may have been an altercation of some sort before the shooting.
