SALISBURY, N.C. – The adoptive grandparents of Erica Parsons are evicting Erica’s adoptive parents from the home on Miller Chapel Road in Salisbury.

William and Janet Parsons says son Sandy and his wife Casey breached the lease agreement they had by removing property, not paying $982 in taxes, and not paying $4739.68 in good faith money, according to court documents.

The family moved their belongings out earlier this month.  Casey said that William Parsons had stopped taking the checks they gave them for the house.

William Parsons says Sandy and Casey damaged the property by removing a fence, removing landscaping bricks, taking out an air conditioner and boarding up the window, and they are demanding $10,000 in expenses, records show.

In all, William says Sandy and Casey owe him $25.863.58.

The Parsons, all of them, now have a court date of Oct. 7 on the eviction.
