I stopped home for lunch Friday afternoon and on my way back to work, about 8 squad cars were heading north on South Park Drive with their lights and sirens on, then all of the sudden they all did 3-point turns and headed south (back towards Sulkirk). Kind of made me laugh, but I'm glad they caught the person. This is the only site that I've found online that mentioned this story.<BR/><BR/>I had been debating on whether to buy a handgun for home protection. Assign them defenders, raise their bail to $1 million, do the necessary research and set trial for August 1, 2008. Once convicted, have the court sentence them to 20 years apiece in State Prison. Then, and this is critical, advertise this fact all over Mecklenburg County so the young punks can see exactly what will befall THEM should they opt this course for their lives.
