Gas Station Shooting Leaves Bystander in Hospital

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police, a bystander was shot during an altercation that took place at a gas station shortly before 3:00 early Saturday morning. Police say two groups were in an argument when the shot was fired.

The victim, who was not involved in the altercation, was shot in the neck at the Shell gas station located on Freedom Drive and has life-threatening injuries.
