A mobile home in Gaston County was destroyed from a fire early on Thursday.
No one was present in the home on Stockwood Lane, near Stanley, when it caught fire just after 4 a.m., Gaston County Fire Marshal Eric Hendrix said.
The 911 call was answered by firefighters from the East Gaston, Lucia Riverbend, Alexis, and Stanley fire departments. A neighbor who saw the fire made the call.
The cause of the fire wasn’t been determined.
